Acupuncture worked for me. Could it work for you?

Like so many other people, I had only heard of acupuncture through numerous TV documentaries and various travel programs. If ever I had a medical problem, I would automatically go to my doctors and never even considered anything else.

However, last year I found that despite the best efforts of my GP and various chiropractors, my sciatic pains were not getting any better and if anything becoming more debilitating every morning.

It was on a “whim” that I walked into a shop I hadn’t even noticed before and asked if they could do anything.

I’m not a particularly sceptical person and like to think I keep an open mind on most things, but found the concept of having needles stuck in me to cure sciatica a little weird. But, with the NHS unable to help, I went for a course of treatment … and have not looked back.

Within three sessions I was feeling a lot better and in no discomfort at all by the end of the course. I have continued the treatment ever since and only suffer discomfort now if I have long lapses between sessions.

It’s not just me that has benefited from Chinese medicine! I asked Oriental Healing if they had any ideas for my son’s severe acne which persisted despite various face washes and a course of antibiotics. To my surprise, they did in the form of specially mixed tea. The effects were quite astonishing and he now has a much clearer complexion.

There is another side to Oriental Healing that makes it a pleasure to go there … the people. They are courteous, a little cheeky (but I like that) and always professional. It is an environment that makes the experience something to enjoy, over and above the medical benefits.

In conclusion, I would (and do) recommend Oriental Healing to anybody that is either unhappy with their current western treatment or to anybody who doesn’t like to put too many drugs into their system.

Thank you for all the treatment I received in dealing with the type of illness I seemed to suffer from. For two years I have had a chesty cough that seemed to be always there. I called into the Oriental Healing Centre in the town just on the off chance as I was passing by. I found the staff and doctor to be very understanding, and he agreed to treat me. For 10 weeks I drank a type of tea, which had been prepared for me, I might add the tea did not taste very pleasant but I persevered. To my surprise the cough disappeared.

Each week I had my pulse and blood pressure checked and these too went down. Each week I was given acupuncture and Oriental massage to help my blood flow, it all seems to have worked. There are various other products for sale in the shop, shampoo’s, creams, ointments, etc., all worth a try.

I am writing to say that after a few sessions of acupuncture and massage, together with herbal tablets and oil I have found great relief from the pain in my leg, which was sciatica.

I have been to several different sources, which unfortunately have not made the slightest difference.

I am so pleased that I decided to try Chinese medicine, and I only wish I had come to the clinic years ago.

To all the staff in Oriental Healing,

I have suffered from psoriasis since I was 23 years old. I have been prescribed every cream, shampoo and bath treatment you can name, but all it did was clear it up for a few weeks and then it would come back. It would also come back at the first sign of a cough or cold and the onset of cold weather. In the winter I could not move properly without splitting and bleeding and to sit or walk or sleep was agony. I have been interested in herbal medicine since reading about it years ago, so when I saw your shop open up, I knew I had to enquire more about it. The lady behind the counter was absolutely brilliant in explaining what the treatment was and what it did and when she said they could make it never return I had to try it. I was very dubious about the first cup of herbal tea I drank and the taste was not pleasant, but I have done everything they asked of me. The first week I noticed a difference in 3 days, it was very itchy and all the thick shin was flaking off. Week two saw all the middles disappearing. By week four only the outside of the psoriasis was left. By week seven I was having my immune system worked on and when I was told again that it was so that the psoriasis would never return, it was like music to my ears. I am now on week 10 and all my psoriasis has gone except for a couple of small bits on my head, which takes a bit longer to go, because the air cannot get to it so easily with the hair.

Thanking you very much indeed, for the first time in 32 years I can now wear tops with no sleeves, shirts and shorts. I can now even have a stylish haircut to show my ears, which I have not been able to do for all these years. I am absolutely amazed at how it has worked and as the lady behind the counter said “with no side effects”. I have recommended it to my son, who has been diagnosed with psoriasis 6 months ago at the age of 30. He is now taking the tea, I also recommended it to my sister who has had psoriasis for 40 years, and se is very impressed by it.

It has also made a difference to my skin, it is softer and smoother and I no longer have any cracked skin on my shins. It has made me feel like a new person and given me extra confidence. I am so glad that you decided to set up your Chinese herbal practice in our town.
